Commissioners
are a unit's first line of help in Scouting as they strive to help your unit
be its best. They work to get the answers to your Scouting questions.
Each unit (Pack, Troop, and Crew) should have a Unit Commissioner (UC).
To support the Unit Commissioners, there are Assistant District Commissioners
(ADC). Each ADC provides support and backup help to their UC staff.
Roundtable Commissioners are another resource for units.
They develop and present the program and training at your district
monthly roundtable.
The leader
of the ADC's, UC and the Roundtable Commissioners is the District
Commissioner. The District Commissioner is your district's leader of the
Commissioner Staff and another helpful resource. The District Commissioner is
also one of your district's Key 3 along with the District Committee Chair and
District Executive.

Rechartering - All
Troop and Crews recharter in January and packs recharter in March. Once you
receive your recharter packet go through it carefully and if you have any
questions, please call your unit commissioner.
They will be able to assist you in this very important process. Also you
can go to www.northernstarbsa.org
and click on the unit charter renewal tab; there you will find links to
frequently asked questions, instruction guides, and quality unit applications.
If you need additional assistance, feel free to call Mike Evano at
763-231-7235 or Peter Johnson at 612 798-4815.
They will be able to help you through the process.
