Friends of Scouting (FOS)

The 2008 Friends of Scouting campaign is getting underway and we will need your help. This is a crucial part of continuing our quest for Quality District in 2008. We will be posting more information in the very near future.

There are other reasons to support the Friends of Scouting campaign such as materials used in the Fall Youth Roundup. Just about every pack in our district saw a dramatic increase in membership through this recruiting effort and the materials used to spread the word were instrumental in this effort. Another reason is to maintain camp facilities as well as keep the cost of camps as low as possible. These are just a couple of reasons why we support the Friends of scouting campaign in Metro Lakes. Provide him with where you will be meeting, date and time and a contact person for more information. Let’s start this New Year off with another overwhelmingly successful campaign because remember it’s about the youth and enhancing their scout experience.
